Fast Forward !

Whenever i see a mobile phone or a laptop, i sigh. Would i be lucky enough to enjoy its unique features before it's already old-fashioned?
Designer clothings, bags, laptops, automobiles, and even food are now involoved in what is called (the race of technology) which is actually "exclusiveness vs. time" in other terms. Products are being launched to markets in no time, leaving every fashion-follower on the alert to get whatever is released before anyone else does. Sometimes it's necessary, since it has a major shift to people's way of life like the internet, the cars and airplanes. But when it comes to fashion designers i can't really figure out the reason behind having two or more seasons of fashion releases in one year.
Rationally speaking: If the products were affordable and had met the best quality standards, then it is ethical to value the financial worth of it and give it some good time to rust! Junk zones vanished, because all the wastes of people are brand new and easily recyclable! My only concern is: Where is this taking us? the middle-waged people and those who could not afford to follow the new technology will be nothing but techno-illiterates with time and become unwillingly premitive. In biology, we call it the "Natural Selection". the organisms that adapt to rapid changes in nature are the ones who survive it, where those who cannot change or accept the change in some way will simply extinct!
For me, i follow whatever broadens my scope and keeps me updated. this would draw me a mature perspective to live and raise my children in an advanced, up to date environment. the eager to be the so-UNIQUE girl was never in my list and i think it is fading among people and will approach to zero point once they realize it is a non-stopping journey in a dead-end path.
It will go this way to the eternity !

  3. Hi,
I have three comments; the FIRST about the Natural Selection idea (and I call it “idea” because I totally and absolutely don’t agree with it). God Almighty is the one, and the only one, who decides which stays and which goes. And for everyone reading this blog, the writer of this blog, is a believer and a good believer in God Almighty, and I have no doubt about that. The SECOND is, we compare, but only based on one aspect or small number of aspects and not all aspects necessary for a rational decision (me included). May be because of an imbalanced mixture of logic and emotions. And when we compare, we do it fast. And we do it fast because we want to change, but we are afraid of change (afraid of not being able to go back), that’s why we accumulate, and when we accumulate, we overdo it, and after overdoing it, we realize its value, and then we call it junk. The THIRD, about the middle-waged people, who are they? Aren’t the middle-waged people, us? I’m not a millioner nor am I a charity recipient. In other words, we are the green grass that the sheep eat. As long as we continue to grow, they will continue to eat, but instead of realizing that, we feel sorry for the dry yellow hay. Can we do anything about it? NO. Why? Because we love it as it is!! We don’t admit it, but we love it as it is.

  4. Mr.Tareq, Mr.Isam, and Mr. OAK TREE...thank you for contributing to what i wrote, I find myself agreeing with you :-)

As for the comment of Mr.Oak i would like to clarify some points.

Quoting from the holy Quran (Surah 34 - Saba' SHEBA ):
"034.001 Praise be to God, to Whom belong all things in the heavens and on earth: to Him be Praise in the Hereafter: and He is Full of Wisdom, acquainted with all things. "

And Surah 55 - Al Rahman THE MOST GRACIOUS "055.033 O ye assembly of Jinns and men! If it be ye can pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, pass ye! not without authority shall ye be able to pass! "

Allah (swt) is the creator and the definer of every beginning and ending point and that is out of the question, however, he gave us the permission to find these issues ourselves.
Science is a part of the religion and they do not oppose. ALLAH has made it the way it is and neither we nor the nature have the power over it. The theory of the natural selection is about the mutation, migration, and genetic drifting of organisms. For example, Prophet Adam -the father of all mankind- was 60 ft tall and by viewing his descendants through time, we find the generations shorten until its only 5 ft tall. What would have happened if we were 60 ft now-a-days? Another example, the peppered moth exists in both light and dark colors in the United Kingdom, but during the industrial revolution many of the trees on which the moths rested became blackened by soot, giving the dark-colored moths an advantage in hiding from predators. This gave dark-colored moths a better chance of surviving to produce dark-colored offspring, and in just a few generations the majority of the moths were dark (quoted from wikipedia). The point is, in order to be able to live we mutate and mutation is controlled by natural forces and these natural forces are commanded by Allah (swt). we do not control it but it's how it works.
But, if you meant that we should be selective to Darwin's theories as it confront to God's almighty powers then you've got my vote.

  5. 1. See everyone!! This just conforms with what I had said earlier, that the writer is a good believer.
    2. ‘Science is part of the religion and they do not oppose’ if this declaration is left out, some might use it in there favor (everyone knows whom I mean). Thank you for re-instating this fact.
    3. By the way; for everyone reading this: (swt) is short for ‘Soub.hana.ho-Wa-Ta.ala’ which means ‘Glory-and-Praise to Him’
